BELTD Legal
Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: October 3, 2026
1. About BELTD and Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions apply to the BELTD website, online Builder, products, custom design services, team-order services, and related communications (“Services”). “BELTD,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the BELTD brand and website. By accessing or using the Services, submitting artwork, approving a proof, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Order & Customization Policies.
2. Eligibility and Information
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order. You agree to provide accurate contact, shipping, billing, sizing, and customization information and to promptly correct errors.
3. Products, Customization, and Builder Previews
BELTD products may be made or customized to order. Digital Builder images, proofs, and mockups are visual approximations. Colors can vary by screen, material, print process, lighting, leather variation, and production conditions. Minor variations in grain, texture, placement, stitching, print alignment, and finish that are normal to leather goods and custom production are not defects.
You are responsible for reviewing spelling, names, numbers, colors, artwork, sizing, and selections before approval or purchase.
4. Customer Artwork, Logos, and Content
You retain whatever rights you hold in content you submit. By providing a logo, name, photograph, graphic, trademark, team mark, school mark, or other content (“Customer Content”), you grant BELTD a limited, non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt as technically necessary, display, and use it to prepare proofs, manufacture your order, provide customer service, and maintain ordinary business records.
You represent that you own the Customer Content or have all permissions required for BELTD to use it for your order. You agree not to submit content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights. BELTD may decline, pause, or cancel a customization that reasonably appears unauthorized, unlawful, or infringing.
Unless you separately give permission, submission of Customer Content does not transfer ownership of your underlying intellectual property to BELTD.
5. Proof Approval
When a proof is provided, production may begin after approval. Approval confirms that you have reviewed and accepted the design shown, including spelling, artwork, layout, colors, names, numbers, and customization details. Changes after approval may be unavailable, may delay production, or may require additional charges.
6. Prices, Payment, Taxes, and Promotions
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change before an order is placed. Applicable shipping, discounts, and taxes are shown during checkout when available. Payment is processed through third-party providers. Promotional codes may have eligibility, expiration, single-use, email-match, or other restrictions and have no cash value unless required by law.
7. Production, Shipping, and Delivery
Production and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Timing may be affected by proof approval, artwork issues, order volume, carrier delays, weather, supply availability, or events outside BELTD’s reasonable control. Customers are responsible for a complete and accurate delivery address.
8. Final Sale and 30-Day Limited Defect Warranty
All custom BELTD products are final sale once production begins. Because each BELTD is made to the customer’s specifications, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, design or color preference, customer-supplied artwork errors, or other non-defect reasons.
BELTD provides a 30-day limited defect warranty beginning on the date the order is delivered. This warranty covers manufacturing or material defects arising during normal intended use, including failure of the leather strap, breakage of the elastic adjustment component, failed stitching, or failure of the rear-locking adjustment system.
This limited warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, natural leather characteristics or cosmetic variation, incorrect sizing, misuse, accidents, intentional damage, improper care, unauthorized alteration or repair, or damage caused by use outside the product’s intended purpose.
To request warranty service, contact BELTD within 30 days of delivery and provide the order information and reasonable photographic evidence of the claimed defect. If BELTD confirms a covered defect, BELTD will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement of the affected product. This limited warranty does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. BELTD Intellectual Property
BELTD™, BLTD™, BE·LTD™, BELTD logos and brand identifiers, original site graphics, product artwork, photographs, copy, design assets, and other original BELTD materials are owned by BELTD or used with permission and are protected to the extent provided by applicable trademark, copyright, and other intellectual-property laws.
No license to BELTD intellectual property is granted except the limited right to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, scrape, republish, create unauthorized derivative brand assets from, or commercially exploit BELTD-owned content without written permission, except as allowed by law.
The ™ symbol reflects a claim of trademark rights and does not represent federal registration. BELTD will use the ® symbol only for marks and goods/services for which a federal registration has issued.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, introduce malicious code, abuse the Services through automation, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent orders, or use the Services unlawfully.
11. Third-Party Services
The Services may rely on third parties for payment processing, hosting, databases, email, shipping, analytics, social-media integrations, and other functionality. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis and BELTD disclaims warranties not expressly provided in writing. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BELTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. BELTD’s aggregate liability arising from a product order will not exceed the amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim, except where a greater remedy is required by law.
13. Unauthorized Customer Content
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your breach of the Customer Content representations above, including claims that content you supplied infringes third-party rights.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights under mandatory consumer-protection law.
15. Order Disputes, Payment Disputes, and Chargebacks
If you believe an order is unauthorized, incorrect, defective, missing, or otherwise disputed, please contact BELTD promptly so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not change the underlying terms of the purchase or create a right to a refund where one otherwise does not exist.
BELTD may provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant records reasonably necessary to respond to a dispute, including the order confirmation, customization selections, customer communications, proof approval, shipping and delivery records, applicable policies, and other transaction evidence. Nothing in this section limits rights available to a consumer under applicable law or card-network rules.
16. Fraud, Abuse, and Refusal of Service
BELTD may refuse, pause, or cancel an order before production where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, unlawful or infringing artwork, abusive use of the Services, material pricing or technical errors, or circumstances that make fulfillment unlawful or impracticable. If BELTD cancels an unfulfilled paid order for one of these reasons, any refund due will be handled consistent with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
17. Force Majeure
BELTD is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, labor interruptions, government actions, utility or internet outages, supplier shortages, manufacturing interruptions, or similar events. This section does not eliminate any non-waivable consumer rights.
18. Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. BELTD’s failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Order & Customization Policies, Limited Warranty, order confirmation, and any written terms specifically agreed for a team or custom order, form the agreement governing the applicable transaction.
19. No Transfer of Customer IP; Portfolio Use Requires Permission
Customer Content remains owned by its respective rights holder. BELTD’s order-fulfillment license does not authorize BELTD to claim ownership of a customer’s logo or other underlying intellectual property. BELTD will not rely on the order-fulfillment license alone as permission to use Customer Content in unrelated advertising or promotional portfolio materials; separate permission may be requested where appropriate.
20. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions may be submitted through the BELTD Contact page.
